Princess Knigh, the first girl’s Manga created by Tezuka, who grew up inspired by the Takarazuka Revue in his childhood. It greatly influenced other girl’s Manga which appeared later on. Sapphire, given both a girl's and boy's mind by Tink’s mischief, is destined to act as a prince to succeed the throne although she is physically a girl. Meanwhile, Duke Duralumin uses various plots to disclose the secret that Sapphire is a princess and not a prince. Sapphire disguises herself as Princess Knight to stand up against him.

Developed in a brilliant and gorgeous world, Princess Knight depicts inner conflict between two opposite existences and attracts many readers and fans with its romantic settings.
